The Chocolate Museum is celebrating
World Cocoa and Chocolate Day with Sian Luxford
An evening of chocolate and Amazonian delights,
dedicated to cocoa farmers.
The Chocolate Museum is proud to announce a special event in collaboration with Sian Luxford,
to coincide with the World Cocoa and Chocolate Day. This afternoon of chocolate tastings, speciality food, exhibitions and talks will celebrate ethically produced cocoa and chocolate.
The World Cocoa and Chocolate Day gives praise to the significant role of the hard labouring farmers who produce tons of cocoa for the world to enjoy. To celebrate their work and to raise awareness about the magic world of the Amazon rainforest, where cocoa originates, Sian Luxford will give an inspiring and thought provoking talk titled “A Journey Into The Amazon”. Sharing her experience of Amazonian culture, Sian will provide an insight into the indigenous patterns of Peru, along with a deeper understanding of the energetic side of jungle plants. On the day, Sian's holistic range of handmade products, made with Amazonian plants will be on sale at the museum: Massage Oils, Medicinal Bath Melts, Herbal Hair Tonics, Face Steam Packs, Bajo Steam Packs.
To accompany this presentation, we will delight our audience with a tasting of South American origin chocolates, we will serve Caribbean Cocoa Tea and our traditional, thick and rich hot chocolate.
Expect a bubbling afternoon of music, tastings, chatting, discovery and learning about cocoa, the Amazonian rainforest and chocolate.
BOOKINGS: Seats are limited.
